Welcome to UT PREP!
This page is your one-stop shop for everything about camp, so please keep it handy! It will be updated throughout the spring with info such as transportation schedules, orientation slides, lunch menus, and more. Graduation invites will also be posted here in the summer.
Reminders
- Early Bird pricing ends 3/1!
- Don't forget your UT EID and password for Day 1 of camp!
- Camp Dates: June 16th - July 24th, 2025 (Mon - Thurs).
- There is no camp on June 19th & June 30th - July 3rd.
- Drop-Off = 8:15-8:30
- Pick-Up = 4:30-4:45

Find Us On Campus
If your student needs to come to camp late or be picked up early, you'll need to go to their classroom instead of the usual pick-up/drop-off point. Your first step should be to message your student's mentor teacher via Remind. They will give you the room number and recommend you use the guides below to navigate campus and find your student's class!
Some tips:
- If you'll be driving to campus, you'll need to park your car and walk into the building on foot. We recommend using the paid UT parking garages listed below; there is also metered parking on Guadalupe. As a reminder, we are unable to reimburse parking fees and/or tickets.
- The easiest way to get where you need to be is to click on the Directions buttons below, which take you to Google maps. If you're searching independently, please ensure the transportation mode is set to "Walking".
- UT is very bad at displaying building names on or outside of our buildings! This is why using a map app is the best way.
Welch Hall (WEL)
Closest Parking: Speedway Garage
1. Exit the parking garage onto Speedway. Then walk straight (on speedway) toward campus.
2. Use the crosswalk to get across E. Dean Keaton St. while remaining on Speedway.
3. Keep walking, till you get to the stairs leading up to Inner Campus Dr. (past E. 24th St.) on your right (see picture above).
4. Take a right and go up the stairs and enter the front door on your right to WEL(see star in picture above).
T.S. Painter Hall (PAI)
Closest Parking: San Antonio Garage
1. Exit the parking garage onto San Antonio St. Then walk down toward the Starbucks (on E 24th St).
2. Turn left onto E 24th St, and walk straight until Guadalupe St.
3. Use the crosswalk to move across Guadalupe St, then stay to the right as you continue straight on E 24th St.
4. Keep walking, till you get to Painter Hall on your right (see picture above), it will be past the Transportation & Security box.
5. Enter the doors (see star in picture above), and take a right to reach the stairs you can use to get to floor 4.
Electrical Engineering & Research Center (EER)
Closest Parking: Speedway Garage
1. Exit the parking garage onto Speedway. Then walk straight (on speedway) toward campus.
2. Use the crosswalk to get across E. Dean Keaton St. while remaining on Speedway.
3. Keep walking, till you get to the first opening/courtyard on your left (see picture above).
4. Take a left and go up the stairs and enter the front doors of the EER (see star in picture above).
5. Use the stairs or elevator to go down to floor 1, the class will be behind the elevators.
Gregory Gym (GRE)
Closest Parking: Brazos Garage
1. Exit the west side of Brazos Garage to get to Brazos Street (the Blanton will be in front of you).
2. Take a right on Brazos Street. Then, take a Left on Jester Circle.
3. Jester Circle will dead-end into Speedway. You’ll be able to tell you’re on speedway because the brick is yellow (see picture above).
4. Take a right on Speedway. Walk past Jester (the building on your right), then cross 21st Street.
5. Gregory Gym is the first building on your right. When you walk in (see star in picture above), please tell the front desk that you’re picking up a UTeach Outreach camp student from swimming. They’ll let you in and you should be able to see us at the tables at the far end of the lobby or waiting outside the changing rooms (also in the lobby).
Car Pick-Up & Drop-Off
As a reminder, we must have the full names and photo ID numbers for all adults who are authorized to pick up your student from camp (including parents and guardians!). If you have edits or additions to this list, please email us at summercamps@uteach.utexas.edu from the same email address you used for camp registration.
