2027 Information 

When:  

  • Session I: June 7th - June 11th, 2027

       OR 

  • Session II: July 26th - July 30th, 2027

Where: The University of Texas at Austin, Painter Hall

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Early Bird Pricing: $649

*Price increases to $679 on February 1st

Overview

The University of Texas Chemistry Camp focuses on sparking excitement about chemistry for students who will have graduated from 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade by Summer 2027. Students will have the opportunity to explore new concepts, conduct hands-on science experiments, make new friends, and explore campus. Below is a list of past topics that have been covered during Chemistry Camp:

  • Atomic Scale
  • Chromatography
  • Density
  • Endothermic & exothermic reactions
  • Experimental design
  • Phase transitions
  • Physical & Chemical Properties
  • Polymers
  • Temperature & States of Matter

Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students receive support from an instructor, UT student interns, and other faculty and staff. Activities throughout camp will be hands-on. The camp also includes a mixture of college/career exploration opportunities, games, and sports at Gregory Gym.
