Outreach Course for K-12 Teachers

Outreach Course for Austin-area Teachers

Fall 2018 teacher registration is open.

What? Lessons are alligned with the AISD district overview sequencing. For 4th and 5th grade classrooms, UT students teach seven 50-minute hands-on science lessons once per week. For 6th-8th grade classrooms, these will be 90min hands-on lessons that take place after your school's last bell. Each lesson will complement what you are teaching in your classroom and follow the recommended preparation timeline for the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills exams and Yearly Planning Guides (YPG).

Who? 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade classrooms for Fall 2018.  2nd grade will be served again in the Fall.

When? Lessons begin the week of October 9th. UT students will observe the class the 1-2 weeks before they teach.

Cost? FREE to your school! UTeach Outreach provides all necessary lesson materials and worksheets.
