This camp is designed to help girls develop strength and inner confidence as they discover their unique identity. Girls make new lifelong friends as they problem solve together in supportive teams and practice projecting an empowered sense of self!
The camp takes place at The University of Texas at Austin and is only for girls currently in 8th grade during the 2017–18 school year. Spend time with female physicists, engineers, and mathematicians who are changing the world. Explore the UT campus, tour labs, swim, play sports in the gym, and take field trips.
Build confidence while having fun in Physics, Algebraic Structures, and Advanced Mathematical Problem Solving. Students need to submit grades for the 2017-2018 school year through the 2nd 6th-weeks, an application (see below), and an essay to apply for the program (essay template can be found here). Essays must be one page, hand-written by applicant using the application questions as a guideline, and unedited by family, teacher, or any other individual. Each camper receives individual attention from a Master Teacher and several UT student interns.
